Blackhorse 'O Blackhorse

~Blackhorse ‘O Blackhorse
you are my strength~
~You are the very source
my life of length~
~You bestowed me Honor
for I would die~
~You taught me power
and I survived~
~Many of Battles fought
ground into mud~
~For Freedom’s sought
by our Brother’s blood~
~We never gave up
attacking with force~
~We were the Blackhorse
the enemy’s judge~
~Admitting no defeat
to death we would fight~
~Into Battle did we yell
the Blackhorse’s might~
~We thrust you to Hell
the Devil’s watch~
~Where your Master dwells
in Satin’s crotch~
~One hundred of us
ten thousand of you~
~Your blood be our lust
‘til every last slew~
~One by one ten by ten
we fell them to the ground~
~Sending them to Satin’s Den
by our Duty bound~
~We are the Blackhorse
our Battles we choose~
~The mightiest of Force
no Battle we loose~
~For God and Country
for Freedom’s way~
~We take our Bounty
by night by day~
~By almighty God
their blood we spewed~
~As be a Lighting rod
killing a multitude~
~Cleansing the Evil
that haunts the land~
~The Blackhorse be Lethal
by God’s mighty hand~
~To my Blackhorse Brethren
a Mighty Hoo-ah~
~To my enemy’s aggression
 Shock and Awe~

Don't step On My Flag

Every night before I try to sleep,
I pray to God my soul he’ll keep!
Sometimes I wonder why,
Vietnam I survived!
But then I think and see,
God was always watching over me!
But I was left with many of scars,
from that land away so far!
Like so many Veterans of that war,
I seen so many dreadful horrors!
I don’t sleep well at night,
the nightmares I have to fight!
It’s PTSD you see,
that effects me!
I seen many of my brothers die,
sometimes I sit and wonder why!
But I’m still proud to have served,
and would’ve died for her-
she's my “Country ‘tis of thee,
my sweet land of liberty”!
And even though I have nightly frets,
I have no regrets!
I pledged my Allegiance to the USA,
I loved her then and have all my days!
So don’t step on my Flag,
or it’s your body they’ll have to drag!

A Soldier's Life

One life, has he to live
For his country, he will give
A soldier’s life
Is so full of strife
His job, never done
Even when, the war is won
He fights, to keep you free
Even, from the enemies, you don’t see
His weapon, by his side
So far, he strides
At times, so tired
His only desire
A moments rest
So he, can do his best
He’s America’s fighting man
And, he does proudly stand
For, the Red, White, and Blue
To America, he stays true
He’ll shed his blood, for thee
To keep you free
Many have died
For America’s pride
Many more will
For, it is kill, or be killed
The price of peace, is paid in war
For this, the soldier will live through horror
So, when tonight you pray
Ask God, safe may the soldier stay
Make his life, a little better,
Send him goods, or just a letter
Thank him, for all he’s done
Say to him, well done, for us
You’ve hit a home-run
When, he returns home
Remember this poem
I wrote it, from my soul
On me, the war took it’s toll
A hero’s welcome, I didn’t recieve
In our time, the war, they couldn’t concieve
They treated us, like dirt
Our hearts, and minds this did hurt
We went through hell
Many of my brothers fell
For our duty was, to fight
A good fight
With all our might
Some who came home, went insane
Many died, was it in vane?
So treat them right
When done, is their fight
They will need you
To be true
All the help you give
A better life, they will live
